An ISS Astronaut's Stunning Photos of Australia from Space

Scott Kelly, an astronaut onboard the International Space Station, has taken to Twitter to share a series of incredible images documenting the Australian landscape from 400km above. Entirely unrecognisable as the continent we know, the photographs depict a bright and lurid terrain with large lakes, flowing rivers, and phosphorus mountains. The exact locations of the shots are currently unknown, but it's believed they cover parts of regional South Australia and Queensland.

Take a look at Scott Kelly's Twitter feed to keep up to date with the series.
