As part of its wider Autumn/Winter 2015 range, Dr. Martens has collaborated with London's Sir John Soane’s Museum to create a unique capsule collection celebrating "A Rake's Progress" - a series of famous satirical paintings by William Hogarth.

The paintings, which feature on both a satchel and two Dr. Martens silhouettes, depict the rise and fall of Tom Rakewell - a traditional country boy who flies off the rails after inheriting a large fortune, squandering it all on debauched evenings in Covent Garden's notorious Rose Tavern. After marrying a rich one-eyed woman, Rakewell once again loses his fortune, ending up in the notorious Bedlam asylum and losing his sanity.

Bringing this eventful tale and vibrant capsule collection to life, internationally renowned graffiti artist Will Vibes has created a huge mural on The Great Eastern Bear gallery in Shoreditch, London. The impressive piece will remain on display until 2 November, during which time Dr. Martens will be giving away a piece from the collection.

To put yourself in with a chance of winning, simply Instagram or Tweet a picture of the mural (either your own or from this post) with the hashtag #STANDFORSOMETHING and tagging Dr. Martens (@drmartensofficial on Instagram or @drmartens on Twitter). The competition ends 9 November, 2015.

The Dr. Martens "A Rake's Progress" collection is available online now.
