A Cafe in Melbourne Serves "Deconstructed" Coffee

People all over the world are losing their minds (and their will to live) after writer Jamila Rizvi shared a photo of a "deconstructed" coffee she had been serviced in Melbourne. That's right, she was brought three containers - one with steamed milk, one with water, and one with espresso - all artfully served on a rustic piece of wood. "Sorry Melbourne but no. No no no no no," she said. "Hipsterism has gone too far when your coffee comes deconstructed."

The Facebook post has so far received over 20,000 "reactions" and been shared over 4,000 times. "I just waited almost 20 minutes for an actual cup before realising it would not be forthcoming. I wanted a coffee. Not a science experiment," Rizvi continued. "I prefer to drink my beverages out of crockery and not beakers. Next stage? I'll just get a chopping board with a bunch of actual coffee beans and an upside down hat on it. This must stop, dear Melbourne. This must stop." I think we'll stick to drinking our coffee fully "constructed" thanks…
