Nike CEO Mark Parker has just announced a raffle for the Nike Mag, the self-lacing shoes originally imagined in the 1985 classic film Back To The Future. The shoes have been in existence for a while now, with Nike unveiling a prototype of them over a year ago following lots and lots of rumours, but this is the first time the general public will have a chance to own a pair.
There are less than 100 pairs available and to be in with a chance of getting your hands on one of those pairs, you can purchase a raffle ticket for $10 over at Nike's website. The raffle is open now and closes on 11 October.
The winners will be notified on 17 October. All proceeds are going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a cure for Parkinson’s.
