Sainsbury's didn't mess around when it came to this year's Christmas ad, working with award-winning director Sam Fell, actor and comedian James Corden, and Bret McKenzie from Flight of the Concords. "I thought that stop-frame was the perfect medium for this story," says director Sam Fell. "Because it's stop-frame, everything is made by hand. It's all crafted and very carefully thought through. And each shot is executed one frame at a time. 1/25th second at a time."
