London-based French illustrator Jean Jullien has the extraordinary ability to condense feelings, messages, and world experiences into simple but incredibly effective illustrations. This skill has gained him and, more importantly, his illustrations world attention, especially during the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, when his "Peace for Paris" graphic helped people find solidarity against terrorism.
Now, he's teamed up with publisher teNeues to put his own unique spin on the exciting, complicated, ridiculous, confusing, and tedious moments we all experience in today's world. Entitled Modern Life, the 160-page book "uncovers the humor and simple beauty that exists in the people, places, and things that surround him," featuring everything from quick doodles to found art and sketchbook paintings.
Jean Jullien's Modern Life is available now for approx. £28.50.
