Iconic London hotel Claridge's is famous for its Christmas trees, which are created in collaboration with designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Christopher Bailey, and John Galliano.
This year, they've gone down the minimal route, working with Apple's Chief Design Officer, Sir Jony Ive, and his colleague Marc Newson. The duo decided to keep things simple, installing a tree with no lights, decorations, or presents. Instead of embellishing the tree, the pair teamed up with British set designer Michael Howells to transform the foyer with mood lighting, props, and a soundscape of bird calls cycle from dawn until twilight.
