As part of its constant battle against sports giant Nike, adidas has opened its largest ever store on 5th Avenue in New York City, just a few blocks from Times Square.
The new location acts as the brand's global flagship and is spread across four floors, measuring a total of 45,000 square-feet. Inside, the fit takes inspiration from U.S. high school sports stadiums, with the entrance mimicking an the tunnels athletes walk out onto the pitch through, "locker rooms" to try on products, and high school-style benches scattered throughout. There are also two areas called The Turf and The Track, where you can test products out, alongside a stall selling juices and snacks, a personal fitness consultation area, and a customisation area.
