Mark Zuckerberg mentioned back in March that he was working on an AI project similar to Tony Stark's Jarvis in Ironman and he has now shared a video demonstrating the technology in his own home. It is of course delivered in his trademark awkward style, but that doesn't overshadow the impressive AI technology he is displaying.
The system is voiced by Morgan Freeman and it helps Mark with lots of simple tasks including scheduling his day, speaking Mandarin to his baby daughter, making him toast and letting people in to his house using face recognition. He even knows music too, as when Mark asks Jarvis to "play us some good Nickelback songs", Jarvis replies: "I’m sorry Mark, I’m afraid I can’t do that - there are no good Nickelback songs".
He finishes by asking for suggestions of what to make Jarvis do next. So go and comment if you can think of something challenging. Take a look at the video above!
