Trailer: Dark Night

Dark Night is the new film from director Tim Sutton which is loosely based on the massacre in Aurora, Colorado in 2012 where a gunman opened fire in a cinema during a screening of Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises.

It follows the lives of six people, including the shooter, throughout one day. It's shot in a documentary-style with unprofessional actors and from the trailer it looks completely mesmerising and horrific. As outlined in the description on YouTube, the film aims to criticise gun culture and open a debate over gun violence in America. Take a look above.
