Leica Unveils The M10

  • Posted 15 months Ago

Leica has just unveiled the M10, the first completely new M series rangefinder camera to be release in four years. It mixes Leica tradition with technical innovation to create a camera which they say "sets a new milestone" in the history of the legendary M series. It’s also Lecia's first interchangeable lens digital rangefinder to have the same compact dimensions as the M series film cameras.

It features a new 24 megapixel CMOS sensor which offers improved ISO sensitivity, dynamic range, and sharpness, a Maestro II image processor, manual controls for shutter speed, focus, aperture, and ISO value and integrated GPS and WiFi capabilities. The camera’s viewfinder has been enlarged and has greater magnification making it far more comfortable for photographers who wear glasses to use.

The M10 is available from today, 19 January. It’ll set you back 5,600. If you're interested, head over to Leica’s Mayfair Store.
