Alec Baldwin Is Writing A Parody Trump Memoir

Alec Baldwin is about to make publishing great again, releasing a parody memoir written as US President Donald Trump.

The satirical book, You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump, will be co-written by novelist and political commentator Kurt Andersen and coincides with Baldwin's Saturday Night Live impersonations, which Trump is famously not a fan of.

"Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable!" tweeted Trump last December. "Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad".

According to the publisher, Penguin Press, the book will cover Trump's "mind-boggling private encounters with world leaders. The genius backroom strategy sessions with White House advisers. His triumphs over the dishonest news media. The historic, world-changing decisions — many of them secret until now. What he really thinks of Melania and Ivanka and Jared, Donald Jr. and Eric and the other one. And many spectacular, historic, exclusive photographs of him in private and public, making America great again."

Release is due for 7 November, 2017.
