House of Vans London Temporarily Closes for Skatepark Rebuild

House of Vans London, Vans’ multi-use creative space which includes a skatepark, music venue, cinema and art gallery, is temporarily closing its doors this month for renovations. The rebuild will particularly focus on updating the street area of the skatepark, and the venue is set to reopen in May launching with a full calendar of events.

With the news of the temporary closure, Vans has shared a few facts about its wonderful venue, noting that since opening its doors in August 2014 House of Vans London has provided 205 skate school sessions equating to over 6,100 people receiving free expert coaching and equipment hire.

The venue has also played host to 62 art shows, 26 gigs and DJ sets, including massive shows from the likes of Metallica, Dizzee Rascal and Foo Fighters, as well as 285 film screenings and 35 film premieres. All of which have been free of charge and open to the public.
