London’s Barbican Centre has announced that it's bringing Charlie Brooker's hit series Black Mirror to life, creating an immersive experience called "Into the Unknown: The Journey Through Science Fiction" this summer.
The Barbican's Silk Street entrance hall will feature a massive six foot video installation based on the 15 Million Merits episode from season one, which revolves around a dystopian future where people have to earn their merits on exercise bikes. The installation will include various segments of the episode 'Into the Unknown: A Journey Through Science Fiction' on huge TV screens, giving visitors an immersive experience, sharing similarities to the surroundings of the characters from the episode.
In addition to the Black Mirror experience, the exhibition will also look at the history of sci-fi through literature, art, film and more.
The event runs from 3 June through to 1 September, 2017.
