Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Announce Comedy-Horror "Slaughterhouse Rulez"

Remember earlier in the year when it was reported that comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost had reunited for a new project? Well, thanks to Deadline, some more details around that project have now been released.

The film will be another comedy-horror (what else?) and will be called Slaughterhouse Rulez. It's being backed by Sony Pictures but will be created under Pegg and Frost's new production banner Stolen Picture. Crispian Mills will be the director.

"Slaughterhouse Rulez takes place at an elite boarding school, dubbed Slaughterhouse, where boys and girls are groomed for power and greatness," reads the synopsis. "The movie follows protagonist Don Wallace, whose modest background makes him a target in a baffling new world of arcane rules and rituals, presided by sadistic sixth formers. But when a fracking site on school grounds accidentally unleashes “unspeakable horrors,” a new hierarchy is formed in which pupils, teachers, and the school matron become locked in a bloody battle for survival."

There's currently no release date for the film, but stay tuned for further details!
