Queens Of The Stone Age have just announced full details of their seventh album. It's called Villains, it’s produced by Mark Ronson, and it’s out on 25 August via Matador Records.

The first track to be heard from it just premiered with Zane Lowe over on his Beats 1 radio show and is now streaming everywhere online. Called "The Way You Used To Do", it's a lively rock n roll tune with sharp guitar lines and Josh Homme’s signature vocals. Take a listen to it below.

Speaking about the album, Homme said via press release:

"The title Villains isn’t a political statement. It has nothing to do with Trump or any of that shit. It’s simply 1) a word that looks fantastic and 2) a comment on the three versions of every scenario: yours, mine and what actually happened… Everyone needs someone or something to rail against—their villain—same as it ever was. You can’t control that. The only thing you can really control is when you let go."

Check out the Villains artwork and tracklist below. You can head over to QOTSA’s website to pre-order now.
