A weird video from Donald Trump has become his most popular tweet ever

At the weekend, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, decided it would be a good idea to ignore important matters like his partial reinstatement of his travel ban and instead tweet out a strange video of him tackling "CNN" to the floor in a wrestling move.

The clip, which is an edited version of Trump's 2007 Wrestlemania appearance, shows WWE CEO Vince McMahon's face covered with the CNN logo. Trump then tackles him to the floor and gives him a mock beating. Trump captioned the video with "#FraudNewsCNN #FNN". At the time of writing, the tweet has gone on to collect 328,377 retweets and 548,595 likes, making it his most popular tweet ever.

People are calling the video an attempt to distract the public from the travel ban, which will only allow citizens with "a credible claim of a bonafide relationship with a person or entity" to stay in the US. Grandparents don't fall into this "bonafide" category, which has caused huge criticism from people including John Oliver, who called the ban cruel and unnecessary.
