Saturday’s (26 August) big fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor isn’t for a world title, but the WBC (World Boxing Council) has sanctioned a lavish "Money Belt" to be awarded to the winner.

It’s made up of 1.5kg of gold, 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 160 emeralds and Italian crocodile leather, and took 3 weeks to produce at a cost of more than $1 million - all paid for by Mayweather Promotions.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman showed-off the impressive belt during the final pre-fight press conference, saying "The fight was made because of money, so we have the Money Belt…The cost of the materials, the labor to make it, it is an expensive belt, and the winner of this big-money fight will deserve to have the Money Belt".

Have a close look at the belt below. You’ll have to wait until the early hours of Sunday morning to find out who gets their hands on it.
