B&O Play introduces Beoplay E8, its first wireless earbuds

B&O Play has announced a new model in its impressive headphones range, a pair of wireless earbuds called the Beoplay E8.

E8 are B&O Play’s first wireless earbuds, and they are set to compete with Apple’s AirPods, but look to offer a superior product with premium materials, touch controls and in-case charging.

Speaking about the launch of the E8, CEO of B&O Play John Mollanger said via press release:

"Beoplay E8 is the perfect companion for everyone, who don’t want to trade in sound and design for true wireless freedom. It is designed to sit beautifully in your ear as a discreet and stylish technology statement and comes with a sound that is full-bodied and precise in its soundstage."

  • Cord free and completely wireless
  • Electro-dynamic driver, 5.7mm diameter - tuned by B&O Play audio engineers for an authentic and powerful experience

  • Made form premium materials - leather, aluminium, stainless still and braided textile cord
  • 4 hours of playtime on one charge and comes with leather charging case which gives you two additional charges of 4 hours each
  • Transparency Mode - choose how much outside sound you hear from the world around you

Available from 12 October, Beoplay E8 retail for 259, 299 Euros or $299 and come in either black or charcoal sand.
