Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical executive known as "the most hated man in America" and also the guy who paid $2 million for the only copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, is now selling the album on eBay.

The only copy of the CD was put up for sale on the auction site yesterday with a starting bid of $1 - bidding currently stands at $75.3k. The auction is set to finish on 15 September, and it’ll be interesting to see what the final price gets to, or if indeed the sale goes through at all.

In the description of the listing, Shkreli says his reason for selling the album is to see if the world values music nearly as much as he does. He also references the beef which escalated between himself and Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah.

The sale does come with a disclaimer however, as Shkreli states "at any time I may cancel this sale and I may even break this album in frustration". He also notes that half of the proceeds of the sale will be donated to medical research - and before you think "oh, how generous of him" - he also boasts of not needing to sell the album to raise money as he and his companies "have record amounts of cash on hand".
