MUJI has opened a gigantic flagship store in Brooklyn

To coincide with its 10-year anniversary in the US, Japanese retailer MUJI has opened a dreamy new store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

To coincide with its 10-year anniversary in the US, Japanese retailer MUJI has opened a dreamy new store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Covering a total of 7,300-square-feet, the store basically offers everything you could ever wish for from MUJI, including stationary, skin care, clothing, travel items, furniture, storage accessories, kitchenware and more. The store will also house a flagship-exclusive embroidery station, allowing customers to customise various textile items with a range of over 300 embroidery designs.

"MUJI is delighted to open our first ever Brooklyn location in Williamsburg," said Toru Tsunoda, President of MUJI USA, in a statement. "As the neighborhood is home to young families and collectives of innovators, artists and design-conscious individuals, this area perfectly encapsulates the types of communities that continue inspire our brand and inform our design processes. We’re excited to finally become part of this vibrant district"
