IKEA has launched an augmented reality app to help you design your interiors

Coinciding with Apple's release of iOS 11, which features ARKit, Swedish retailer IKEA has released an app called IKEA Place which lets you use augmented reality to visualise how furniture will look in your apartment or house.

So far there are over 2,000 of IKEA's most popular items available to play around with, so you can test our various colours and even see if it's the right size to fit in your room (IKEA says the furniture scale is 98% accurate).

Unfortunately for us in the UK, the app appears to only be available in the US at the moment, but hopefully it'll be crossing the Atlantic soon. In the meantime, check out the demo video above.
