Sonos has unveiled a brand new speaker to its already impressive range - the Sonos One - it’s an all new voice-controlled smart speaker which is capable of supporting multiple voice services as well playing music, podcasts, audiobooks etc. from more than 80 streaming services.

The speaker is launching with Amazon Alexa built in, allowing voice support for Amazon Music, iHeatRadio, Pandora, SiriusXM and TuneIn, with voice-control for Spotify said to be coming soon after launch.

More updates are expected to the speaker in 2018 too, with Google Assistant and the ability to connect to Apple’s Siri in the works. The speaker will also be able to support Apple’s AirPlay 2, making it possible to play any sound from an iOS device - including YouTube and Netflix.

The Sonos One is available for pre-order now for 199 and comes in either all-white or all-black matte finishes - which both look rather lovely. It’s out on 24 October.
