Guinness honour John Gilroy with two limited edition illustrated cans

Guinness has released a pair of limited edition cans honouring the work of renowned British artist John Gilroy.

Having helped shape the Guinness brand with the creation of his distinctive ads starting in 1928 and running all the way through to the 1960s, two of Gilroy’s original illustrations are now set to grace the cans of the black stuff for a limited run.

The designs of the cans feature the iconic flying toucans as well as a bold red lobster. Take a look at them above and keep an eye out for the cans which will be available at all major retailers from 1 November.
