Watch a great video essay showing the colour palettes used in Wes Anderson movies

The Vimeo Staff Picks section is always a great source for incredible video content, and today a scarcely watched video essay by Andrés Peña which was uploaded over a year ago has been featured.

The clip looks at the use of colour in films by director Wes Anderson, displaying the palettes used in various scenes of The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom.

It's a brilliantly put together piece which features some lovely music by Alexandre Desplat taken from The Grand Budapest Hotel soundtrack.

Watch and enjoy it over on Vimeo.
