Swedish retailer H&M has teamed up with iconic director Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet) to create a highly stylised short film for its collection with Erdem.

Named The Secret Life of Flowers, the four-minute short is set in an English country estate called Reddham Gardens where we find a group of friends eating and drinking during a "forever spring" season. The lead roles are played by British actors Tom Rhys Harries, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and Ruby Dagnall while Dame Harriet Walter takes the position of a Miss Havisham-esque estate owner.

Of course, the whole point of the film is to highlight the new collection, which is showcased beautifully by models including Saskia de Brauw, Imaan Hamman and Fernando Cabral. It also features a new track from Year & Years called "Hypnotised".

Watch above and look out for the collection when it launches on 2 November.
