"The Last Job on Earth" - a short animation imagining a fully automated world

According to some experts, machines are well on track on take up to 50% of our jobs within the next 30 years, so The Guardian has worked with Moth Collective to create a short animation imagining what our future might be like.

Entitled "The Last Job on Earth", it follows a young woman called Alice, the holder of the last recognisable job on Earth, as she wakes up in a futuristic city. After reading the news on her bathroom mirror while brushing her teeth, she heads to the medical centre for a medical check before heading to work in a self-driving pod. Unfortunately, once she arrives she's in for a bit of a shock.
