The new trailer for Ridley Scott’s latest film All The Money In The World has just been released, and it includes scenes which have recently been reshot with Christopher Plummer in place of the disgraced Kevin Spacey.

The makers of All The Money In The World have moved real fast to get the reshoots done, with them happening over the last 10 days in London and Rome at a cost of $10 million - a fourth of the original $40 million budget for the entire film.

Remarkably, the film is still set for release on 22 December, and when asked about whether he considered pushing back the release date to allow more time for the reshoots, Scott told EW: "No… Because I know I can deliver. I move like lightning. I’m already two scenes ahead. It’s simple! If you know what you’re doing, you don’t need 19 takes. You do one for the actor, one for me." What a pro!

Check out the trailer above and have a read of the synopsis for the film below:

All The Money In The World follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

All The Money In The World is out in cinemas on 22 December.
