Nike unveils England 2018 football kit

Nike has unveiled the England 2018 football kit and accompanying training/apparel collection.

The two shirts, home and away, are classic, simple and come based on England’s archetypal colour palette of white, red and blue. They feature a rosette at the inner neck which references the caps senior England players receive when they represent their country. Nike has also introduced a custom typeface for player names which is drawn from fonts such as Gil Sans and Johnston.

The shirts are full of tech, with the Three Lions crest being a heat transfer which is 64% lighter than previous crest applications, the Fast Fit Vaporknit engineered body-mapped fabric provides increased airflow, and the open-hole texture of the knit on the chest and back are plotted on footballers’ heat and sweat maps for maximum breathability.

The rest of the collection sees Anthem Jackets, tailored Tech Fleece tracksuits, black and deep-blue training gear, and a pre-match top which is inspired by England’s 1982 home kit.

Take a look at the new England kit as well as select pieces of the training collection below.
