Take a look at Nigeria's incredible new World Cup kit

As well as unveiling the brand new England 2018 football kit, Nike has also released the brand new strip for Nigeria’s national team - and it’s an absolute beauty.

The home strip is inspired by Nigeria’s World Cup '94 shirt and features an abstracted feather pattern on the torso and sleeves, with the design coming in a vibrant green, black and white colourway. It replaces the more traditional all green strip, which is now the Nigeria away kit, which comes as a cleaner, simpler design in all dark green.

Dan Farron, Nike Football Design Director, said of the kit:

"With Nigeria, we wanted to tap into the attitude of the nation. We built this kit and collection based on the players' full identities. We started to see trends in attitude and energy connecting the athletes to music, fashion and more. They are part of a resoundingly cool culture."

As with the England strip, the shirt uses Nike’s Vaporknit technology for increased airflow and optimal breathability and features a heat transfer badge which is 64% lighter than previous crest applications.

As well as the home and away strips, there’s also an accompanying apparel collection featuring bold all over prints and "Naija" printed proudly on various pieces.

If you’re not a Super Eagles fan, then keep your fingers crossed you get them in the sweepstakes for the World Cup so you can justify wearing one of these incredible designs. Take a look at the collection below.
