Made from just four parts, the Trye Stool by Paul Isabella is an example of "industrialized minimalism at its best." Featuring a cast iron base and a solid wood top, you can't get a piece of furniture more honest.
Trained as a furniture maker and designer, Minneapolis based Isabella pulls inspiration from the likes of Ernst Haeckel, Finn Juhl, Dieter Rams, Jens Risom, and Sam Maloof, but says he is most of all inspired by things in day to day life, "grabbing from anywhere". That combination obviously works well for him as his portfolio is full with beautiful pieces.
