For the February issue of Vogue Italia Peter Lindbergh was commissioned to shoot 40-year-old actress Uma Thurman wearing YSL, Prada and Dior. The German photographer / filmmaker first made a name for himself when he shot Wintour's first, then revolutionary, Vogue cover back in 1988, which featured a model wearing jeans.
