Josh Greet is a photographer currently studying at Plymouth College of Art. The images below are part of a series called Walden, which is based around the idea of leaving society in search of a simpler, more primitive life.
To submit your work email us 4-6 jpeg examples of your work (660 px width) and a link to contactus@huhmagazine.co.uk, or join our Flickr group.

- Oh come on fellow readers... look at Greet's website and you can see he has his own distinct style. I think the comments are a little unfair.

- ryan mcginley didnt invent naked portraits but the colors themes and pictures are pretty much straight ripoffs of his work.

- they're alright...just alright. I thought the photo used for the homepage (the blurry one) looked quite cool, but was ultimately disapointed at the standard of the rest of the series. sure they smell a bit of Ryan Mcginley's I Know Where The Summer Goes etc, but I wouldn't say this guy's ripping him off. Clearly paying homage to the "youthful"style mentioned previously, but nothing more. Either way, I don't think the photos conjour much other than the primitivism stated in the description, and that's only really expressed through the bemused looks on the faces of the models as they stare into the mid distance. I just wish they were more interesting to look at. the concept is fine. the photos are below par. Sorry man.

- one can feel a great amount of frustration in the comments... nothing is more boring and uninspiring than such words.

- This isn't quite the same as Ryan Mcginley work though is it. M's work seems to be about youth, freedom etc. Hipster stuff. Just because this is shot in the woods doesn't make it Mcginley, although the chances of him influencing this are of course high. By the way, give him a break he lives in Plymouth, there isn't anything more interesting in Plymouth than naked twenty-somethings hanging out in the forest.

- I feel like all the photographers presented in submission Sunday are the same... all trying so hard to do what somebody else has done before. They used to copy Avedon, now they copy either Ryan or Terry ...
