The Grand Palais in France are opening a retrospective of Helmut Newton's work, featuring over 200 photographs, many of which were printed with direct control from Newton. The German-Australian photographer spent a lot of his career shooting in France, so it makes sense that his work is now on show there. Press clippings and a film made by his widow, June Newton, will accompany the exhibition.

The exhibition will be running from 24 March through 17 June, 2012, in the South-East Gallery.
