Dank Issue Nº3

Hot off the press comes issue three of Norwegian skateboard magazine Dank (a colloquial Norwegian term for "passing time whilst doing absolutely nothing"). Produced by Jørn Aagaard, Aksel Overskott and Eirik Traavik (who we interviewed here), the 128 page issue cleverly mixes a Fantastic Man-esque aesthetic and outlook with skateboarding related content, making a nice change from the more "extreme sport" style magazines on the market.

Inside you'll find interviews with Magnus Bordewick, Stian Bakke, Jake Johnson, Norwegian movie director Joachim Trier, skateboard videographer Jørgen Johannessen, photographer Sergej Vutuc, and Pontus Alv of Polar Skateboards, as well as beautifully shot pictures from Greg Hunt's "Selective Memory" retrospective and an exclusive series "Deerman of Dark Woods" shot by Alana Paterson. All the text is Norwegian, so a separate English "Dank In Translation" booklet is included inside.
