Damien Hirst has revealed new plans for a statue which would become the "Angel of the West" in response to Antony Gormley's famous "Angel of the North" sculpture in Gateshead, England. Officially titled "Verity", the sculpture of a naked pregnant woman holding a glass-fibre sword above her head would stand 66 feet tall and would be situated in Ilfracombe on the southwest coast of England. Ilfracombe officials are currently deciding if they are going to go ahead with the sculpture and will reveal their decision in September.
