  • Just Do It - one of the world's most famous brand taglines, but how was it conceived? This clip explains exactly that, travelling back to 1988 when creative agency Wieden & Kennedy first coined the phrase for Nike. "The inspiration for this came from a man who was about to be executed for murder in Utah, and his final words to the firing squad were 'Let's Do It', so I thought I like the 'Do It' part of it," explains agency co-founder Dan Wieden. The short goes on to speak to the public, finding out what the message means to them and what it has helped them achieve.
