  • American Mountaineer and filmmaker David Breashears has created an incredibly detailed two billion pixel interactive image of the Khumbu glacier, which is in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal between Mount Everest and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Made from 477 separate high resolution shots, the photograph aims to tell the "bigger story of climate change in the area," and allows you to zoom to different areas of the site, including inside a tent at base camp.
