  • Jay-Z has become the latest name to be attached to the upcoming Baz Luhrman epic The Great Gatsby. According to Jeymes Samuel of The Bullitts, he and Jay-Z will be writing the score for for feature film. The rumours about Carter's involvement first started when the track "No Church In The Wild", which was made in collaboration with Kanye West, was used on the trailer. Cast members also leaked that director Baz Luhrman played Jay-Z music on the set, with actress Isla Fischer tweeting "On my first day he had Jay-Z pumped up full, and we did the entire scene with, you know, Jay-Z in our ear on full blast while acting, and it was just so liberating."
