Located in the Middle Park area of Victoria, Australia, The Harold Street Residence was designed to adapt and evolve to the changing family needs of a couple with university age children. Architects Jackson Clements Burrows also attempted to connect with the surrounding Victorian terraces by utilising a sweeping roof and traditional red brickwork, creating a building that "acknowledges its heritage context in a positive way." The rather public corner position of the house is also addressed by positioning the garden on the more private northern half of the site.
