  • A Cinephile's Labyrinth is a new short piece commissioned by NOWNESS in which famed director Michel Gondry takes us on a tour of his local Parisian video store - La Butte Video Club. Directed by American actress and filmmaker Tiffany Limos, the four-and-a-half minute video features the Academy Award-winning director reminiscing about time spent in the small but well-stocked VHS and DVD store. "You go out of your apartment, you talk the the person and he knows a lot about movies, and that's very inspiring. Instead of staying at home and just watching TV or watching movies on the net or whatever, which is great too, but I think sometimes it is good that you get your ass out of the house … I watched all the early Wim Wenders films from La Butte when I was preparing for The Science of Sleep."
