  • It may smoothly blend into any film now, but when Steadicam was first invented by cameraman Garrett Brown in the early '70s it was a groundbreaking technique which quickly became one of the most exciting and engaging visual techniques for many filmmakers, allowing for a smooth shot when moving quickly or over uneven surfaces. To pay homage to the art of steadicam cinematography, Refocused Media have produced a compilation of the top 50 Steadishots, which were picked using the "top" videos on Steadishots.org.
