The History Channel Blend Past and Present In Latest Campaign

Created in collaboration with Ground Zero advertising agency, the History Channel have launched a new campaign entitled Know Where You Stand. As a reminder of major historical events, the campaign's imagery blends past and present photos of iconic locations. The photography work was done by self-taught American photographer Seth Taras and includes the Berlin Wall in 1989, the invasion of Normandy in 1944, and the Hindenburg disaster in 1937. Speaking about the advertisements, The History Channel said they wanted to "motivate people to understand the history of where they live by watching the History Channel."
