  • Continuing with their series of art commissions, The High Line in New York will be displaying acclaimed artist Ryan McGinley's "Blue Falling" photograph on their billboard. The photograph depicts a person floating against a vast dreamy blue background to suggest calmness and a sense of being limitless. The billboard can be found Edison ParkFast parking lot next to the High Line at West 18th Street and 10th Avenue. "Blue Falling" will be on display here from 30 April, 2013. This will mark the ninth installment on the High Line Billboard, which has previously featured works by John Baldessari, David Shrigley, Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari for Toilet Paper, Paola Pivi, and Allen Ruppersberg, among others.
