  • Australian tech startup SwatchMate have come up with "The Cube" - a new portable device which enables users to detect the colour of any physical object with the click of a button. Enabled via. Bluetooth, the device captures "chroma samples" from any surface with the accuracy of less than 1 delta-E, sending the data across to your smartphone or desktop (where it can also seamlessly integrate with Photoshop). There's no information on the price of the Swatchmate Cube at the moment, but you will be able to pledge your support when they launch their Kickstarter on 13 November, 2013.
