Intrigued as to whether famous artists would get into modern day art schools, a group of filmmakers decided to painstakingly recreate the work of well-known Russian painter and rt theoretician Kazimir Malevich. Often credited as the pioneer of geometric abstract art as well as an originator of the avant-garde and Suprematist movements, his work now sells for millions of dollars, despite the fact that he was rejected by art schools twice. "We wanted to give him another chance," say the filmmakers. "So we filled a portfolio with his million dollar pieces and set up interviews at several art academies to see if Kazimir Malevich would get in today."
