• A Desk That Transforms Into A Bed
  • Posted 9 months ago by Jack Lowe · Art & Design · 11246 Views
  • As a lot of us know, one of the major problems of living in a big city is dealing with the high rents and the lack of space. Faced with this, designers are coming up with increasingly innovative space-saving ideas.

The latest comes from German company BLESS, who has created a desk which has the ability to transform into a bed, providing an environment for two separate functions - work and sleep. With the push of a single button, the desktop unlocks from the frame and flips over to become a single bed, making it perfect for crashing after a late-night work session. There's also plenty of room underneath and additional shelves and drawers at the sides.

    • Seems to solve the problem of what to do for a guest room when you have an office at home that takes up the "extra" bedroom - and rather elegantly. I'm holding out for a murphy bed, though.
