Following from yesterday's tragic events, which saw 12 journalists shot dead at the Paris headquarters of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, illustrators and cartoonists around the world have begun paying tribute in their own special way.

lIlustrator Jean Jullien's piece "Je Suis Charlie" was one of the first to pay his respects, causing the hashtag #jesuischarlie to trend across Twitter and prompting cartoonists from international newspapers, such as Steve Bell for The Guardian, to join the conversation.
