Having long produced publications showcasing its seasonal lookbooks, Carhartt Work in Progress is now getting a little more creative and is launching a fully fledged print magazine called “WIP Magazine”.

The inaugural issue “seeks to explore and probe the various facets of the brand’s cultural DNA” and includes a discussion between photographer Julian Klincewicz and curator Ligaya Salazar, in which they talk about “the importance of not working”, among other topics.

Other features include a Phil Evans-shot photo story documenting skateboarder Denis Lynn’s trip around Europe, a fever dream-inspired editorial from London-based photographer Joyce NG and stylist Ai Kamoshita, and a look into the world of Berlin’s infamous 1UP graffiti crew.

WIP Issue 1 is free and exclusively available in Carhartt WIP stores globally.
