Listen to Kurt Vile’s new song “Bassackwards”

As well as announcing Bottle It In, his first solo album in three years, Kurt Vile has shared a brand new song titled “Bassackwards” and an absolute ton of tour dates.

The album, which will be released on 12 October through Matador, was produced by Kurt Vile, the Violators, Peter Katis, Shawn Everett, and Rob Schnapf. It also features Kim Gordon, Mary Lattimore, Cass McCombs and Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), among others.
